    Founder/Managing Director

    Chuck is a seasoned professional and certified Master Black Belt, Lean Leader, and Senior Member of ASQ. With a remarkable 45 years of experience in Manufacturing and Quality within Fortune 500 companies, Chuck has been at the forefront, leading product lines and spearheading Operational Excellence initiatives. He was instrumental in deploying Lean Six Sigma in a billion-dollar corporation from partner selection to full rollout in the US and Europe. Chuck was also one of the first Master Black Belts certified by Tyco International. Additionally, Chuck has had site responsibility for ISO Certification and can easily tie the requirements of ISO to Lean Six Sigma and the organization’s continual improvement efforts

    For the past 15 years, Chuck has been the driving force as the Founder and Managing Director of Work Stream Consulting. His leadership has been instrumental in serving diverse clients in the manufacturing, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors across the US and Europe. Chuck's expertise extends to navigating challenges related to manufacturing, outsourcing, and supply chain intricacies.

    Doug is our Continuous Improvement (CI) expert with diverse industry experience across Health Care, Bio-Pharma, Semiconductor, Defense, Automotive, and Transportation. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Doug excels in executive-level strategy planning, global quality workshops, manufacturability assessments, and crafting procurement specifications for multi-million-dollar investments. With expertise in AS9100, ISO9000, cGMP, ISO13485 Quality Systems, and ISO14971 Risk Management, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge to Work Stream Consulting.

    Doug stands as a pioneer in developing foundational training programs for clients embarking on their transformative journey. He injects a sense of creativity and enjoyment into what can often be perceived as mundane topics, ensuring a refreshing and engaging learning experience for participants.     Marco is a Continuous Improvement & Process Innovation Consultant and certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a profound focus on new product development and operations excellence. Additionally, he contributes his expertise as an affiliate professor in Marketing for both the University of Denver MBA Program, as well as WPI.

    With over 25 years of experience, Marco is a dedicated agent of change, leveraging analytical and statistical expertise to drive data-driven problem-solving and enhance process control and product quality. His journey includes roles as a New Product Development Engineer and Continuous Improvement Engineer in the semiconductor industry, working through every phase of the Cradle-to-Grave life cycle. Marco has led cross-functional teams and actively participated in improvement projects spanning localized initiatives to organization-wide transformations.

    Beyond his professional achievements, Marco is also the co-host of Work Stream Consulting's podcast, "Lean Into Excellence." This platform allows him to share valuable insights, engage with industry leaders, and discuss real-life applications of continuous improvement practices.

    Herb is a veteran professional holding the prestigious titles of Certified Master Black Belt, Nadcap Lead Auditor, and Lean Expert. With over 35 years of dedicated service in managerial positions spanning Engineering, Quality, and Operations within the Electronics Industry, Herb boasts a wealth of experience and expertise. As the Director of Six Sigma, he spearheaded an Operational Excellence Program for the $250M Tyco Electronics Printed Circuit Group, showcasing his profound impact on large-scale operations.

    His educational background includes a BS in Business and Statistics from Charter Oak College in Connecticut, coupled with graduation from the Calhoon Marine Engineering School in Maryland. Herb also served as a Naval Reserve Officer for six years, earning an honorable discharge.

    In his pursuit of excellence, Herb established LEAN2020, where he developed online and live Lean Six Sigma training in three languages and certified belts in an impressive 46 countries. His global influence extends to the healthcare sector, where he crafted the HOSPITAL acronym—a widely adopted tool internationally for recalling the 8 Wastes.

    A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, David has pursued advanced studies in vacuum operations and molecular transport. His professional repertoire extends to being a Certified Change Management Professional. David's dedication is further evident in his military service as a US Army Ranger with the 2/75th Ranger Regiment.
